Meet the Artist

Rebeka Rain is a singer/songwriter, recording and performing artist, co-producer at Melpro Recording Studio, from Cairns, Australia. She has 2 solo albums, Question – (2014) and I Am Rain – (2015), 1 album as a duo with Mick Evans and other artists, called Duality – (2017), and a self titled album with her band LIFE – (2016). As well as several singles, all available on itunes and other digital outlets. She has recently become a partner in Fame Music Radio , Johannesburg, South Africa, where she is a co-host on several shows. She has had international success with a number of songs charting in several countries including 3 at number one. She was born in Cornwall, UK and relocated to Australia as a child with her parents, where she grew up in Northern Queensland. She started her working career as a jockey and reached a high level of success both riding and training horses in Australia , and internationally. Rebeka appeared in television music shows and won singing competitions over the years while in her racing career. Eventually the time came where music was to become her sole career after juggling it on the sidelines for many years. Hi I’m Rebeka Rain,
I have always had a deep love of music, it was not until I lived through the tragedy of losing my amazing son ‘Harry’, to suicide that I realised how much music was to become a part of my life. The time following this tragedy was a period of extreme emotion. Days, which turned into months of hardly rising from bed, sleep eluded me, and the world became a much darker place. There seemed to be no point to my life anymore.

The day came however when I had to make a conscious decision to move forward with my life.

What became very apparent to me was that singing and music were to be the key to my healing. Putting my feelings and questions into song lyrics was the next obvious step. Since then I have found new purpose and am very thankful to be able to turn my love of singing and songwriting into my career. My aim in life now is to bring as much happiness and compassion to the world as I possibly can and encourage others to laugh, love, dance, feel, to follow their dreams and to live life to the absolute fullest. My first album, ‘Question’, is a glimpse of what I feel is important in this world.
My second,  “I am Rain” is a celebration of life, hope and dreams.
Duality is a fun look at the world, and a reminder to celebrate life, and dance like no one is watching!!!
I have the wonderful experience of working with two amazing people (Mick Evans & Kyle Petersen), and creating our band called “LIFE”…Our debut self titled album is a celebration of our relationship together.
